FUN DAY WITH ALPACAS...The alpaca show in Virginia (VAOBA EXPO) is being held Dec. 5-6, 2015, in the Meadow Event Park in Doswell, Virginia (right outside of Richmond) at the Farm Bureau building. It's a great opportunity to see over 400 alpacas, alpaca judging/competition, fun youth activities, informative seminars, wonderful shopping for alpaca products and a photo contest. Added this year is the fiber fun workshop which is a 20-30 minute session in which you can participate in making small projects. And it's FREE! We suggest visiting on Saturday, December 5 as the best day to visit. Although we will not be there with our alpacas this year, it's a terrific opportunity to spend the day with alpacas, alpaca people and attend the informative seminars. For more information visit
